Here goes.<br /><br />Welcome to the Team Darfur blog! We're glad you stumbled across it.<br /><br />This is the spot where my co-founder (Brad Greiner) and I will talk about our experience in the non-profit world. First and foremost, the goal is to spread the word about Team Darfur - the underlying goal being, of course, to put the spotlight on the Chinese government's support of the genocide in Sudan.<br /><br />In a nutshell: We've developed a line of products that we want people to wear at and during the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. We've partnered with a number of Olympians (whose profiles we'll share with you in coming weeks) who have agreed to wear their Team Darfur gear during the Games, as a bit of silent shaming of the Chinese government.<br /><br />Some people have suggested boycotts of the Olympic Games. We don't believe that's the answer. Supporting Team Darfur is a way to enjoy the Games and support your country's athletes while still signaling your disapproval of Chinese sponsorship of genocide.
